Classes/Schedule
At Waterloo Swim School, we offer Classes for just about everyone. From the youngest with our Waterloo Babies Class through Adult Fitness, we work with the parents and students to meet their goals. Waterloo Swim School’s programs are designed to take a student through the steps of learning-to-swim with emphasis on positive reinforcement of the right skills by our instructors. Call us to for a free evaluation and we’ll let you know which class is right for you and your child. Please note: You may join our program at any time, as long as there are openings. If you join mid-session, your fee will be prorated.
Learning to Swim:
Our Swim Program has two different schedules: Blitz Classes and Session Classes. Our Blitz Classes meet eight times over a two week period (M/T/W/TH). This can be a great class to fit around vacation schedules or a refresher from last year’s lessons. Our Session Classes meet for about 6-7 weeks. You choose the day(s)/time(s) you would like to schedule for classes. We recommend once or twice per week for consistent reinforcement. In our Learn to Swim program, we divide our younger students into Blue, Orange, White, Novice, & Intermediate. For Adult Lessons, we offer private or semi-private lessons.
Fitness:
We offer a Swim Camp/Kid Fitness Program as well as an Adult Fitness Program. The Kid Fitness Program meets twice per week for fun, fitness and stroke improvement. We offer this camp program through both summer sessions. The Adult Fitness Program is for a full summer pass of workouts that meet Mondays through Thursdays 7:00pm – 7:45pm.
Advanced Swim Camp/Competitive Training:
Students between 13 and 18 years of age who like to compete in swimming meets and want to improve upon their strokes and speed are encouraged to enroll in our Competitive Training Class.
